    Hi Everyone Thanks very much for all your advice about buying an EPIRB. I will try to get a personal one with GPS for coastal sailing and possibly also a waterproof, hand-held VHF. When I eventually get that big steel ketch and sail over the horizon I'll get a full-size EPIRB too. The only problem is finding the money... Cheers Mark
