    I like Hobies, so a bigger cat probably would be fun. I just don't know
    anything about that and what models would make a good, solid built boat that
    can handle some rougher seas, eventually.

    Maine cats?

    The Leopards, Manta's, etc... are all too expensive for my wallet.

    Actually, my cat (the feline version) does the wrecking of my equipment just
    fine :)
