    My experience with C-Map dates back to the early nineties on a variety of
    brands.
    All of it was with cartographjy in the Great Lakes and St.Lawrence seaway.
    And all of it was better than what I saw yesterday. Evidently Furuno's
    Navnet display does not do as good a job of interpreting the chart module
    data as I had expected.
    Because Furuno is also used extensively by commercial vessels I was
    expecting quality and performance much closer to what I have seen on
    commercial ships.

    So the real cause of the poor appearance is Navnet not necessarily C-Map.
