I have 2 on mine one in the line and one on the motor and
from the way it looks that still isn't enough. My brand
new motor isn't running because of what looks like a stuck
float. I will know more on Wednesday when the mechanic
comes to look at it. The filters won't stop everything.
I purchased a water seperator filter today and that is
what I am told is the only way to go. Because they have a
much finer filter and let the water and other junk go to
the bottom of the filter they do a much better job. My
only hope now is that there was some kind of defect in the
needle and seat that caused this so it will be covered
under warranty but chances are I made about a $250 dollar
mistake. Yes I could take the carb apart myself and fix
it but then I have the chance that something I did would
void the warranty.
