Was at a Target store yesterday and bought a roughly 10-12" 2 speed box
fan that runs on 12v by using either 8 "D" batteries or a small ac
transformer (700mw).
This fan is the same size as the one sold at West Marine with a 12v plug
for $80.
I figure I can splice a matching connector to a 12v plug and run it
directly off boat power w/o needing the ac transformer & inverter. Or I
could wire into the D battery connectors. Either way, an easy few
minutes job.
Oh, the cost: $17
