Candied ginger absolutely saved me and another crew member on a recent
offshore trip. Didn't take much and the protective effects lasted hours
and hours. Dramamine didn't help at all.
Tellingly, it was the oldest most experienced crew member who brought
the ginger.
Next time, I'm taking lots.
