You certainly do have a good sample! <g> And your point about the machines traveling sounds right. My buddy maintained about 25 laptops, but most spent their life between the home and the office, often at one of the other for long periods. I wonder if anybody has actually got figures available for MTBF for "working" laptops? With the stats correlated with airplane trips and "foreign office" use...
