Next message: (no name): "Re: lv-ab: Dinghy"
Hi,
I'm the guy Peter was talking to about the
Port-A-Boat in the first place.
Remember me? Blind guy?
I am not buying anything I have to assemble and
disassemble. My concept is to store the inflatable
(or regular aluminum) dinghy upside down on the
bow when sailing. I'll lift it into place there
with a 12 volt winch (like is mounted on truck
bumpers). I will raise it out of the water each
night when at anchor with another such winch
mounted at the stern on davits of my own design.
If it is an inflatable, it will be inflated once
and never deflated (at least not on purpose)
again.
I am sure the Port-a-boats are fine and all that,
I just am not interested.
Sorry... :-)
