Hi Jan,
Thanks for the URL. I can't tell you how much time I've wasted looking
for that. I was beginning to think they had gone out of business and
were no longer to be found. Would have thought google and dogpile would
have been able to find it. Did you search for it (which search engine?)
or did you have it at the ready? I was beginning to think the Edson was
the only game in town.
Oddly enough, the Wurtz URL was also a help since it was something I was
considering looking for until recently. A Crealock 37 on the way back to
Hawaii was having that put on their mast about a week ago here in the
boatyard. The rigger wasn't to "hot" about it since the cable moved and
he thought it might be prone to chafe. Using that as a "yardstick" I
tossed that out. I don't want to add to the repair costs in exotic
places. OTOH, self leveling is _very_ attractive for obvious reasons.
Anyone out there ever have experience with either of these _mast
mounted_ solutions?
Thanks.
Rick
