I run them every day. Every one of our systems goes through a set of
Environmental Screening and Vibration tests. We just qualified a unit
recently that underwent 2 weeks (nonstop) of
temperature/vibration/altitude testing with a profile that varies each
of the parameters to extremes...all while operational! You should see
the explosive decompression tests!
