All the Master brand locks have steel parts and will freeze up pretty
quickly.
I tried Master locks early on, and came back from a three month Navy cruise
and tried to open it late at night in the pouring rain but had to stay in a
motel that that night as I could not get the lock to open and did not want
to damage the teak washboards. I was po'ed!-Ken
