Just try drilling a 1/4" hole in a hunk of stainless with a hand drill.

When I was in Turkey I bought a huge two speed hand drill I called "the
mother of all drills". It COULD drill a hole through 1/4 inch stainless, but
it took some time and sweat. Besides, the amount of room needed to operate
the huge thing made it impractical for a lot of drilling. My DeWalt was much
easier and faster.-Ken
