Upscale propane systems even include a pressure gauge graduated in inches of
water column.
Such a gauge can be used to directly measure the pressuer needed to clear
the tank tube.
My Winnibago motorhome came with a pressure gauge reading 15 inches of water
as a maximum.
In addition the face has a resettable pointer. Very handy for low height
tanks and as a means of checking consumption since last reading.
AS Norm says the industrial supply companies provide thsi kind of test
equipment to the trades and is therefoer readily available off the shelf.
