i'm pretty sure you cannot document a boat under a US corp. if the
officer(s) arent US citizens., also, there are some rules about US flagged
vessels (documented) being operated by foreign nationals. forgot the
specifics but should be looked into before any decision.
I'm not sure why a VI registered boat would be turned away by any caribean
island... even the french :-)
