    The specs are very close to those of the Honda (53 db at 1/4 load - 59 db at
    full load)

    The specs also say it has various warning systems (low oil) and a smart
    throttle to regulate speed to the output required. Since it is selling in
    Europe at only 25% more than in the US (less than half the price of the
    Honda) it will sell well here in Europe. That means spare parts etc should
    be widely available.

    Sounds like a good deal.

    Now all I have to do is find someone to buy my French unit.
