Thanks Jim for the timely feedback about the Georgia coastal (ICW) area. We certainly agree that it is beautiful along the sawgrass coastal waterways; we were somewhat concerned about the ICW condition. We may need to travel some or all of the ICW in Georgia if we cannot get the weather window we want. We are headed from NC to Brunswick in a day or two. Thanks again.

Having a boat at St Simons Island, GA requires us to transit the ICW in
Georgia often. ;) As far as I know nothing has changed, the marshes
are beautiful, the creeks are deep and plentiful. Most of the time we
don't even see anyone else except a fisherman, crabber or two when we're
anchored. Delightful place to watch the wildlife. The only problem I
see is that fuel is scarce between Savannah and Brunswick, but that only
affects those with small tanks. It also keeps down the traffic. If you
like crowds, don't bother coming to Georgia.

    Jim.
