    I had the same experence in Georgia. No groundings, but St Andrews Sound
    is very shallow where it makes the turn in the middle of the estuary with
    hard sand, exposed to the sea and always throughly scares us.

    Other than that, between Brunswick and the Savannah River there is nothing
    but beautiful marshes.

    It would be a lovely place except for the fact that in Georgia Jan and I
    are considered to be criminals by state law because we live on our boat.
