I suspect your charger is not set high enough and shuts down at too low a
voltage at the end of the absorb phase. Remember to check these voltages
at the terminals of the battery to find the true voltages the battery is
being fed with.
With AGM batteries you cannot check the specific gravity of the electrolyte
to reliably measure the state of charge, one of the big advantages of the
flooded cell type battery.
Your AH meter should zero itself when it thinks the battery is fully
charged, at least mine does. Check the instruction book.
