Sea Clear looks good. Reluctant to run it since I do not know if there is any virus threat attached to its use. Anyone have any problems with Sea Clear navigation.
Thanks, Roger

This actually seems to work well. It says it will put out
NMEA so you should be able use it to control an autopilot
from the PC. It does show your location on the charts
based on the GPS data.
Now it does only work with NMEA and only on com ports so
if you have a USB Garmin (others may be similar) you can't
get NMEA out of it or to the com port. However the link
below has a tool that will fix it. It takes Garmin USB
data and converts it to NMEA on a com port of your
choosing. It will even let you use more than one GPS
program at a time. The demo is 14 days and it's $29.00
for the full version but that is still better than
anything else out there.
