My GPSNavX software reads NOAA and Maptech BSB raster charts and they
have the exact same detail as the NOAA paper charts since they are just
raster images of the paper charts that have been geo-referenced. My
MacENC software reads both raster BSBs and ENC vector charts, even
    overlays one on the other.

In addition, the software takes SeaTalk data off the Raymarine
instruments and displays the instrument data on the charts and the
software provides nav data to the Autohelm to allow the autopilot to
steer the route on the laptop.
