Actually, Nancy is aware of the problem. I sent her the error message a
couple of days ago, and she said their IT guy was working on it. It
actually is working, sorta, but you have to find your way around the
error messages. If you get one after a send, ignore it. It probably did
go through, which I found out the hard way after sending the same
    message 3 times.

Does anyone know what is wrong with the SSCA web discussion
board? Maybe I will break down and give them a call.

One observation in response to something Wally mentioned during
the GPS thread; we have noticed that a lot of boats seemed to have not
gone South this winter and are hanging around marinas and anchorages
from NC to GA. I wonder what the boat count in Georgetown is this
winter? Anyone heard anything? Another hurricane season like last year
and a few more dockiminiums is all we need! Ha.......Does seem like more
retirees are on trawlers and motor vessels (as opposed to sailboats)
than in the past despite high fuel cost that probably are here to stay.
Some some casual observations as the sun rises again over SV Tin Cup
(oops, dense fog and no sun yet), happily lying near New Bern, NC.

Another random thought, we read where they are going to start
producing laptops in Asia for under a $100! in order to provide this
resource to third world countries throughout the world. Wonder how much
they could build and sell a GPS chartplotter for; $40??!
            Cheers,
            Roger
