Below is a message I received from Peter.
I'm replying to it here in case other live-aboard members are having a
    similar problem.

By way of explanation, I run a marine bulletin board with over 600 members.
It tends mainly toward technical subjects and averages about 5 posts per
    day.
I created it as a subsidiary to the T&T (Trawlers & Trawlering) bulletin
board when they excommunicated me because of my commercial marine
involvement. It started as a simple list of friends I knew on the T&T list
but rapidly grew as others discontent with T&T policies and policing joined
my list. They receive the T&T list but only post on mine which reaches most
    of the active T&T members.

I have a computer program that harvests email addresses from the T&T list
and automatically adds them to the address list on my bulletin board. It
appears that for some reason the computer has grabbed some live-aboard
members email addresses too. I do apologize for any inconvenience.

Back to Peter's problem, since mine is a subsiduary list, many of the
replies are direct replies to posts on the T&T list. Since most of my
members are also T&T members they don't even notice the difference but if
you are just on my list you will miss some key posts.

    Alternatives:-
    1. Reply off list to me at and I'll be very happy to remove
    you with apologies.
    2. Reply to a TWL2 posting at with just the word
    UNSUBSCRIBE as the subject line.
    3. Remain on the list and follow the posts while missing some of the posts
if they are not included in the responses.
    4. Join the T&T list so you get all their posts too at
    . (They do considerable
volume and have some very knowledgeable members. You are not allowed to
discuss sail boats although my list has no restrictions.)

Again I do apologize to any members who have been confused or
    inconvenienced.

    Regards,

    Andina Marie Foster,

FWIW: I somehow ended up on the TWL2 list after subscribing to live-aboard.
I love it. The only problem seems to be that I receive answers and

subsequent posts on the thread, but never the original question (post)

Perhaps I am not alone in this problem. Difficult to read the article if it

never dribbled down to my PC.

If anyone knows how I can receive all the posts without receiving the

answers twice .. off line is OK

    Peter
