    Coincidentally I am having graphics done in vinyl and the word of advice
    from the sign guy is to make sure there is no chalking of the gelcoat ie;
    buff the area first. He also has equipment to do just what you are asking so
    if you can't find someone local I can give you his info.

      A talented relative drew a logo for my boat, which I scanned. Can the
    auto-detailing firms cut the vinyl from that computer scan? Do the
    auto-type stick-ons work OK on boats? This will also hide a poor gelcoat
    repair - previous owner, honest! It is smooth, but the color was off.

      Rick-the-Mouseherder, still aboard???

      The ice on the bay was thick enough to walk on yesterday, and put
    Christmas lights on the dock, brrr!
