lv-ab: VHF remote speaker

    My new remote speaker doesn't work in my VHF - the radio works, and the
    speaker works in other radios, so I'm going to try replacing the plug in
    the back of the VHF. But there are 3 wires to the plug - will any
    3-conductor mini-jack work, or is this something special?
