Thanks Arild.
In general the heater cores are higher than the runs between, except
where the boat layout disallows. So there are two areas where the hose
run makes a high spot, and I can understand why they did that.
Yes the pump is not at a low point. So that is probably the problem. It
is mounted higher than the burner, which is not the way the manual says
to do it.. I'll research why they did that, and will move it down if I can.
The heater worked well until I replaced the hose at the pump area.
Thanks for the dinghy bailer pump idea, that may be what I end up doing..
