    Hi Steve!

Hey, how'd you know I was thinking of a comeback??? I
    could'a been a contender...yeah! :-)

Because I have an old used diesel with a drive pulley
that is missing a chunk out of one side, and old
alternator, probably 60 or 80 amps at most, and I'm
not even sure the pulley on the alternator is the same
V-shape as the pulley on the engine.

In short, it is not the correct setup, so I probably
should not have put on a 3-stage charger that has the
ability to demand that the charging system be all that
    it can be.

But if I had all the right equipment in good shape,
then there wouldn't be a problem.

Think of my boat in the same light as the one in Cap'n
    Ron.

    Dick
