    If you have a dream, no one can say it's inappropriate.

    Both sailing and power boating require knowledge. Sailing is more likely to involve some physical strength. Anchoring and docking of either type of boat requires strength and skill.

    A psychologist told me that living aboard some sailboats might be unwise as "you go down into them" and they are dark. So if sail is your choice, look for one with a light interior. I was on a Bristol 41 that was bright below.

    Living aboard requires paring down one's possesions - often not easy. You will need a storage capability for seasonal clothing, etc. - unless you follow warm weather.
