If you want a serious amount of ginger plus the 'pleasing' alcohol base -
try ginger wine. Havent seen it in the states, but saw/tried it when i was
in Oz (2001) - yummy stuff - with a *hot* aftertaste. Definatelyt a
'sipping wine'....
