Actually, right now through early next year, Cingular alone offers excellent speeds (fast enough for TV) - at least from the Sheraton Marina in New Bern. I believe that my friend George Hechtman found this to be true throughout New Bern.
There is a new Cingular store in New Bern, just East of 70 on Route 17. Get their coverage map as it might be great for the ICW.
