    Another Question-
I've assumed the obligation of selling the boat of a friend who recently
passed away. It's a 25 yr old 30' power boat. Not in great condition, but it's
comfortable and a new engine was installed several years ago. The engine has
less than 100 hrs on it and it runs great. Question is, should I sell it
myself or hire a broker? I don't mind spending the time to market & sell it. I
just want to get the best price for it (proceeds to my friend's widow).

If I sell it myself should I:
    1) Advertise locally only?
    2) Try Ebay?
    3) Yachtworld?

if you are a private individual you cant use YW - registered brokers only -
is it a one off or a recognised make model with a following of owners and
potential ones - that would make a big difference as to where you advertised it

    regards

    David
