    It depends on where you are.
    In the USA there are 16 ounces of water to a pint and 16 ounces weigh 1
    pound.
    In the UK there are 20 ounces to an (imperial) pint so the weight is 1.25
    pounds.
    So "a pint's a pound but NOT the world around".
