In a message dated 8/14/2005 1:21:58 PM Eastern Daylight Time,
     writes:
I checked the Sundanzer out on the net and found the owner manual. The manual
states that the applicance should be installed horizontally on a flat firm
and stable surface. Conditions that is not compatible with a sailboat that is
under way. Can you please describe your installation? Do you have the DC only
    appliance or the DC/Solar one?

I'm not aware of the two types, there was only one when I bought, as far as I
    can recall.

Our units are securely installed in our galley and work very well even though
we put many offshore miles on our vessel. We roll considerablly, but do not
stay heeled over for prolonged periods as sailboats often do.

Knowing what I know (and don't know) about freon reefer systems, I cannot
imagine what would be a problem with a tilted reefer, at least until the lube oil
got where it shouldn't. Other systems used on boats have similar freon
pumping machinery and seem to work OK.

Perhaps you could could contact Electrolux in Sweden and ask them to make
some definitive tests as you wish to use the units in your new line of sailing
    yachts.
