Jeff,
According to the ARRL, your licence is is good in home and international
waters. Within the territorial waters of any other country you are required
to have a reciprocal license if you wish to operate your transmitter. The
U.S. does not require a reciprocal license for Canadian hams.
I suggest you visit Canada's National Amateur Radio Society at
http://www.rac.ca/regulatory/rcip.htm and http://www.arrl.org/ they have a
many pages devoted to "foreign" ham radio operation and licensing with far
more details.
