Sam,
My wife and I were liveaboards for 5 years in the Toronto area (from 98 to
2002 inclusive). We split our time between Toronto Island Marina and East
Shore Marina in Pickering. Feel free to ask me anything. We had a great
time living aboard our 34 foot sailboat., but decided to become
"dirt-dwellers" when we decided to have a child. My wife had no interest in
being pregnant while aboard!

Subject: lv-ab: toronto live aboards
Hi, was wondering if there's anyone in the Toronto area that I might be
able to pick their brain for some more information. Been doing a lot of
research into living aboard and I *think* I'm ready to take the plunge and
buy me a boat and shove all my stuff into storage.
As this would be my first live aboard, not really sure on what I'm getting
myself into and how to couple with the winters. Might also need some help
on building a shelter.
So if anyone is in the Toronto area and wouldn't mind taking some time to
help me out, I appreciate it. Note that were will be free beer for you time
J
Take care
sam
