    Firefox also has extensions which can add a great deal of useful
    functionality you don't get in IE (plus themes to make it more
    attractive as well). I've been using Firefox since 0.7 and am very,
    very happy with it.

    I'd also recommend the ThunderBird email client which complements it
    also if you want to replace Outlook Express with something more
    secure, standards compatible and extensible.
