That reminds me of the old tale where a beggar walks by the pot of stew being sold by a street vendor. The stew makes his mouth water so he takes out a piece of his crusty old bread and waves it through the steam coming off the pot before eating it.
The vendor protests and a nearby cop on the beat arrested the beggar.
When they got to court the wise old magistrate asked the beggar if he had any coins which he did.
The magistrate then said that the beggar should shake the coins so all could hear. He would pay for the smell of the vendors food with the sound if his money.
A classic example of something (the smell of the stew) being made available in a public space and therefore being free for the public to use (by waving their bread er wifi antennas in the air) anyway they wish, not as the vendor prescribes.
We've had great winds up here in Ottawa, Canada all week. On Saturday we headed upriver for the raftup. The smell of the bbq's certainly got my bread waving in the air :)

Interesting. If I'm walking and hear someones radio turned up to loud and hear it - or pass a concert and hear it, will I be prosecuted?
