Call Toshiba Customer Service direct @ 800 457 7777. Of all the things I've
ever purchased, this saved me the most money! You can buy it up to 30 days
after the purchase date.

I don't know if that is offered in Canada. I bought a 3-year extended
warranty but I don't think it covers accidents. They didn't mention it at
the store (Best Buy).

Buy the Security Guard for it!!!! It is accident insurance sold by Toshiba.
My Toshiba Satellite A75 was 3 weeks old when heavy seas knocked it off the
table and onto the sole. Screen cracked. $900 repair for free because I
spent $100 on Security Guard. Boating is a high risk environment for
computers. My old HP bit the dust due to seawater (leaking cabin) in the
keyboard. Didn't have insurance for it.
I love my A75. You should be happy with Toshiba.
