Buy the Security Guard for it!!!! It is accident insurance sold by Toshiba.
My Toshiba Satellite A75 was 3 weeks old when heavy seas knocked it off the
table and onto the sole. Screen cracked. $900 repair for free because I
spent $100 on Security Guard. Boating is a high risk environment for
computers. My old HP bit the dust due to seawater (leaking cabin) in the
keyboard. Didn't have insurance for it.
I love my A75. You should be happy with Toshiba.

Well, we bought the Toshiba.The Thinkpad is probably more durable, but I
have difficulty buying something I can't see first, especially when it costs
so much. We'll just have to "take good care of it" :-)
Will let you know next spring how it works out.
