No one has mentioned Toshiba's all-risks insurance policy that ONLY can be
purchased at time of purchase. After purchase, you can take out a
conventional service policy to extend your warranty, but if you spill coffee
or bash the LCD you are SOL. Dell has "Carefree" and I imagine that IBM has
a similar policy.
