You guys must not get out much. I have never been to an anchorage with more
than 4 transient boats that did not have someone that would make chart
copies on CD, for free. I have never seen an original chart CD on any boat.
As these are digitized copies of government charts which are supplied to
chart companies with NO royalty payments, I don't even think this is
illegal.
