At audioblowouts.com, I bought a Pyle PLTVD158 DVD player with TV Tuner
(they are even cheaper without the tuner) and a pair of PLMR52 marine
speakers for $199 total, including shipping (I do remember calling and
negotiating a bit). Other than a couple of weird things with the
Japanese owners manual and a poorly engineered remote control, the unit
has functioned flawlessly. Actually, I like it better than I thought I
would.
