The output of the cig-lighter adapter on the cable I
bought is something around 3 volts, not 12, so be
careful. The 12v plug actually has electronics inside
to reduce the voltage to what the GPS wants. You
don't want to fry the GPS.
Somewhere on the web I found the exact voltage it
wants. Maybe you can find that for your model too.
