As a follow-up to my original posts about having the mast shipped while
going through the canal system in New York, I would like to add this
    information.
I had heard about shipping from Kingston, Ontario to Catskill, New York, but
assumed it would be more expensive than shipping from Oswego to Catskill. It
is actually quite a bit cheaper. The cost is $6 Canadian per foot. The costs
to destep and step the mast are additional but that would have to be done
even if we carried the mast on our boat.
We are seriously considering this option and hope that others will also, as
they need 6 masts for each truck.
