In July Soundings Magazine, there is an article about an 80 year old man who
was snorkeling when his boat drifted off. He was found in good health, due
to his boat being found with a log book entry of his location. I am going
to look for a more durable book, will try Rosalie's "account" book idea. It
is too easy to use electronic navigation and forget to keep written records,
but then even a minor failure could be a real problem.
