    Opposing view... I have a Nauticat 33, no windlass, a difficult and
    expensive job at this point. Lifting all chain plus the 35# Delta is a bit
    much, I use 30' chain plus 5/8" 3 strand rode. Also works great. I did
    have trouble with coral chafing the rode in the Virgin Islands, I cut off
    some rode and began using a small fender to float the rode off the coral.
    Never had this trouble on US east coast or Bahamas,T&C, DR.
    The Delta anchor sets very reliably (fake CQR that came with the boat did
    NOT) and is a great anchor, except in soupy mud, there a 35# Bruce does work
    better, if still not working I grab a Danforth.
    All chain is a good idea, but is not practical without a windlass.
