5200 would probably work. 5200 has bubbles inside it when it sets so do all
your "tooling" (smoothing, shaping, etc) while it is still gooey.
For diesel fuel tanks, the only rubbery stuff I know that is recommended is
Sikaflex A1 (or 1A, I'm not aboard today).
