Composting toilets have two problems.
1. Unless you use a heater to help evaporation, urine may have a problem
evaporating.
2. You will want to have an exhaust fan continously removing noxious odors up
a stack.
If you can tolerate the electrical loads, and have room for the largish unit
in the boat, a composting toilet may be just the thing. They do work very
well ashore.
