Arild,
My question was not whether the theory "works" or not. My question was "what
the theory is".
I tried to read the pulsetech's information and find out what they were
doing to the battery, but I did not have the patience. I still don't know.
Just like you, they keep saying the same thing over and over again. It
works, it works, it works. O.K. OK. O.K.
An answer to my question may be : Discharge the battery with a pulse
amplitude of 10X battery Amp-Hour rating for one second and repeat every 100
seconds. Or whatever it is that they do.
Furthermore, if this device is indeed discharging the battery with pulses,
my next question would be why don't the battery eventually deplete all it's
energy? I am a firm non-believer in perpetual motion machines so I figure
if you keep removing energy with each pulse it ought to eventually die.
>If you bother to read the technical papers and do your own homework
>regarding how and what goes on inside a lead acid battery.....
I thought this list provided a means for us to share our knowledge and
experience in our areas of expertise and help each other. If we all have to
"do our own homework" and do our own experimenting, we will do the same
mistakes over and over again. Why are you so reluctant about summarizing the
good work you have done about the subject for years ?
>you realize the theory does make sense. Further Goggling and internet
>searching reveals
>there is a number of people who are ....
What is the theory ? Please tell me.
>The Pulsetech device does rejuvenate batteries that have lost the ability
>to
>recharge due to sulfating.
>They seem to give a new lease on life to tired old batteries. One customer
>reported that his diesel engines now start fast even in cold ....
I really really believe you.
BTW, my tired old cat Smokey Joe has arthritis, maybe I should pulse him a
little. My wife will kill me though.
Bottom Line : The person who explains what this device does in terms of
volts, amps and seconds, and why the energy is everlasting, I will gladly
send them several bottles of 10W40, mineral oil or scotch as they prefer.
BTW : If you don't want scotch and you have to have snake oil, I will Google
search for it, or ask Arild where he gets it.(Just joking.)
Thank you.
