Thanks to all for comments and ideas. Bearing everthing in mind,
particularily the layout of the boat, we have decided to haul out, put in
two new thru hulls, redo a bit/most?of the ancient plumbing, including
replacing some/all? of the seacocks. Big job! But, peace of mind.
