check valves on bilge pump is a receipe for disaster... on a shower sump
it's a recipe for inconvenience... these things are known to get stuck...
sharing thru hulls isn't the best solution but it can be done with a Y
fitting and proper loops.. at least on a powerboat :-) i'd prefer having
the shower and sink share the same thru hull than the shower and bilge
pump...
